Journal of Thermal Science（热科学学报）于1992年创刊，是中国科学院工程热物理研究所主办的英文期刊，是有关能源、动力、环境方面的学术性刊物，面向国内外发行。现为双月刊，被SCI-E、SCOPUS、EI、CNKI、CSCD等收录，与Springer出版社签订国际合作协议。
2023年度优秀论文的评选范围为2021年度发表的文章。编辑部综合论文的引用和阅读数据，最终选出优秀论文12篇。
编辑部会向优秀论文的通讯作者发出约稿信，约稿论文将免收版面费。
